Park C Boat Launch Project
 

September 4, 2024 Update:

Hello Mirror Lake Members,

 

Over the past couple months, Teddy Janiuk has overseen the project of building a boat launch at Park C (off of Eastshore Dr). Over the past couple of weeks, Teddy, Doug Collins, Dave Fraher and Mike Brosious have finished the project by moving the dock, installing a gate and prepping for new signs.

As of today, September 4, 2024, the “OLD” boat launch (off of Vicary Rd.) is CLOSED PERMANENTLY. Members will be required to use the new boat launch effective immediately.

Anyone with a boat please note the lock from the old launch is now located at the new launch. The same codes you were given in the spring will be used in the fall to remove your boat.

We ask that EVERYONE please follow all signs and rules regarding the new launch.
● Swimming is not allowed at the boat launch.
● Do not leave unattended fishing poles/equipment at the boat launch.
● Do not drop cages into the water to trap.
● Illegal fishing will not be allowed and will be reported.
● Do not ride motorbikes in the park.
● Kids should be supervised at the park at all times.
● No overnight parking.
● No overnight mooring.
● Do not park in front of or near the ramp.
● Parking near the bottom of the drive should be reserved for those with handicap needs.

August 29, 2024 Update:

Dear MLA members,

We are excited to announce that the brand-new Mirror Lake Boat Ramp is officially open for use, effective, August 29th, 2024.

As we continue to work diligently to enhance your experience at Park C, we kindly ask that you refrain from parking in front of or around the ramp itself. The designated area down by the lake is reserved solely for backing in, and we urge you not to block this space with parked vehicles. Please note that parking is available at the top of the hill.

In the coming weeks, we will be installing the dock, gate, and bollards at the old ramp. Your patience and understanding during this time are greatly appreciated.

We are always open to hearing your ideas and suggestions to further improve your time at Park C. Please feel free to bring them up in our next meeting or email them to us directly.

Huge shout out to Teddy Janiuk and his wife Michelle for all of their hard work and dedication to this project over the past couple years.  Your dedication and determination to see this project through has been challenged with many roadblocks along the way and you have both continued to find solutions to get this project done!  WE ALL THANK YOU and your team of helpers along the way!
