Mirror Lake is located on the southern edge of Jackson County and is part of the Grand River watershed. It was born out of land expanded from a smaller lake to its present size in 1965 when the Grand River was dammed. The size of the lake is approximately 75 acres and it is a moderately deep lake, around 40 feet.

Hello Everyone

Recent vandalism at Park A and the damage to some of our shuffle board equipment has resulted in this this Vote by the entire MLA board to take action.

1) The proposal: Purchase a SMART lock for the equipment box for Park A at the cost of no more than $200 plus tax.  It will be added to the security maintenance budget rather than Parks. I also suggest  that the lock that is going to be purchased not use fingerprint detection and that our membership could get a code and not need any type of app or smart phone to access the lock.

The vote passed the board.

A new committee was formed at the request of the Mirror Lake Association President to help facilitate communication to all members of the Mirror Lake Association, MLA.  Communication will be distributed primarily through the website and a newsletter. Welcome materials to new lot owners and new board & committee business emails will supplement the communication with the board and you, the members.  Members will also see enhancements on our website which will allow you to complete forms and interact with committee leadership and the board. Your ideas on communication improvements within the MLA are encouraged, until a direct email is created for this committee, you can reach out to anyone on the "About Us" page. Stay tuned. This is your association and improvement in the ways we reach out to everyone will only enhance Mirror Lake Association, as a whole.  We look forward to hearing from you.
